Some commuters were in for a show at around 4:45 p.m. on Friday afternoon as members of the Baltimore Police Department attempted to chase down a nimble-fingered driver.
Police were taken down narrow roads, several highways, and dodged moving and parked traffic while pursuing the driver.
At one point, an officer was able to make contact with the minivan, though the driver was able to maintain control.
There were several close calls as the driver put police through their paces, though no injuries were initially reported.
The chase ultimately ended when officers were able to block the suspect in and guided the van into a guardrail. He was then taken into custody by a host of responding officers.
More than a dozen vehicles responded to take the suspect into custody.
